Montane Kong Vinter:
Montane Kong Winter is an adventure race on Sjælland that gives participants some unique experiences in the nature. Montane Kong Winter is a team race where orienteering, running, mountain biking, climbing and kayaking (master only) are the main ingredients. The race test the team to cooperate under mental and physical pressure from the route and nature.
Montane King Winter has once again found a new route, new forests and experiences. Kong Vinter has been run for 11 years and is, as before, run by Lars Bukkehave and a large crew. There will be plenty of challenges for both new and experienced adventure racers.
The master route has an estimated winning time of 12-14 hours.
The Challenge and Junior routes are won in about 7-8 hours
The fighter route is won in 4 hours.
The race includes running, mtb, climbing and the Master Route has a kayak stage. With navigation between every checkpoints.
All distances have a max time where we expect all teams to complete the route currently.
In the finish, a delicious buffet will be served to all participants.
